FAQ
Q: Can my dog(s) be in the yard while it’s being serviced?
Absolutely! If your dog is friendly with strangers and comfortable with us cleaning the yard, you’re welcome to leave them outside while we work. However, if your dog is territorial or tends to be unfriendly, please keep them indoors until the service is finished. If your dog is aggressive toward our team, you will need to bring them inside, or they may be removed from our service route entirely.
Q: Do I need to be home for my yard to be serviced?
Absolutely not, as long as we can access the serviceable area to perform our duties. Please let us know if the gate is locked or provide us with a code if needed for entry.
Q: How much does pooper scooper service cost on average?
The service is very affordable on average. The cost is depending on how many dogs you have, the size of your yard, the frequency you would like for your yard to be serviced, and when the last time it was scooped. Most of our clients pay around $100 month.
Q: Do you provide poop scooping service all year?
Yes, we do! We will always arrive at the scheduled time as long as road conditions are safe and we can do so safely. Should there ever be a time where poop cannot be scooped safely due to such extreme conditions as icy weather, we will return the following scheduled time. There will not be a refund made for this circumstance as we will be doing double doody upon the return visit.
Q: What if my scheduled visit falls on Holidays?
If your scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday the visit will be skipped for the week and we will roll the visit into the following week. Sorry, there are no refunds for missed holiday services as we will be doing double duty the following visit.
Q: Is there really no contract for professional pooper scooper services with Duty Dog?
No, there really isn’t a contract! No catch, no obligation! We are confident you will enjoy having us as a part of your pack! Start, pause, or cancel service anytime through your client portal. We just ask that if you choose to pause or cancel that you do so a full 24 hours before your next scheduled service to help us with our efficiency to others. You may also call our office.
Q: What happens with the poop that is scooped?
We will double bag the scooped poop and place it in the customer’s trash receptacle or leave it neatly on the side of the house for the customer to retrieve, should the receptacle not be accessible to the Duty Dog technician.
Q: Who uses professional pooper scooper services?
We fit every lifestyle! Busy Professionals, Homemaker Heroes, Seniors, The Disabled, and last but certainly not least, The Procrastinators. Not everyone has the time, nor the want to fit this dirty job into their already overbooked schedules. This can build up and become an overwhelming task fast! And lets face it, it down right stinks, it prevents afternoon fun playtime and evening relaxing, and can even make lawncare unbearable!
